Turkish Tenses 12 (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a free educational application for learning Turkish verb tenses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to our website at turkishtenesapp.web.app and our Android app.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may process:

• Account information — if you sign in (e.g. with Google), we receive basic profile data such as your name and email address from the authentication provider.
• App preferences — language, theme, and learning settings stored locally on your device or in your account.
• Usage and progress — quiz results, favorites, and learning progress to improve your experience.
• Device and technical data — device type, operating system, and crash logs to keep the app stable.
• Advertising data — our app may show ads (Google AdMob). Ad partners may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in their policies.
• Push notifications — if you allow notifications, we use a device token to send learning reminders or updates.

2. How we use information

• Provide and improve the learning experience (conjugations, quizzes, flashcards).
• Save your preferences and progress across sessions.
• Authenticate optional sign-in and sync data when you use an account.
• Display relevant advertisements on supported platforms.
• Send push notifications you have opted into.
• Monitor crashes and fix bugs.

3. Third-party services

We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf, including:

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, messaging, analytics, crash reporting)
• Google (Sign-In)
• Google AdMob (advertising)

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

4. Data storage and retention

Some data is stored locally on your device. Account-related and cloud data may be stored on Firebase servers. We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You may delete local data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.

5. Children’s privacy

The app is intended for general audiences learning Turkish. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your rights and choices

• Opt out of push notifications in your device or browser settings.
• Limit ad personalization via your device’s advertising settings.
• Sign out or delete your account to stop account-linked processing.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures through our service providers to protect data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International users

Your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. By using the app, you consent to such transfer where permitted by applicable law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
